- I am an 18 year old High School student. I have received a scholarship at an organization named Ryman Arts: 2 year advanced drawing and painting classes. I was chosen to receive another scholarship for a 2 week Studio Art/ Advanced Painting session at Idyllwild Arts Academy. Also a $128,000 scholarship ($32,00 a year for 4 years)to the California College of the Arts in Oakland Ca. My work has been displayed in beauty salons and clients’ homes. Through marketing, I get gigs as well, (Gardena jazz festival logo and Boys and Girls Club).I’ve exhibited in the African American Museum in Los Angeles, Parkman Exhibition Center in Idyllwild, and the National Fantasy Fan Club (my piece was auctioned to one of Walt Disney’s closest artists).
